Menu → Notifications

Each person decides what reaches their own phone. Notifications are per account and work on every device where you've turned them on. On iPhone, add PorchIQ to your home screen first (see Getting started).

Kind	When it notifies you
Safety	Smoke, carbon monoxide, gas and water leaks. Critical: comes through in quiet hours and stays on screen.
Doors	Doors, gates and garage doors opening and closing. Optionally only at night, or only when nobody's home.
Locks	Locks locked or unlocked, and by whom when known.
Cameras	People, vehicles, animals, packages and doorbell presses, with the picture. Pick cameras and kinds.
Presence	People arriving and leaving.
Climate	Inside too hot or too cold, by limits you set.
Battery	Batteries below your level, and devices offline for a while.
Houses	A house going offline or coming back.
Automations	When automations you pick run.
Farm and brief	Freeze and barn alerts and a morning summary, if set up. See Farm and animal watch.
System Admin	Backups and health checks.

Quiet hours hold everything except critical alarms.
Don't flood me caps how many of the same kind arrive every 10 minutes, so a busy camera can't bury you. The same alert twice in a row is sent once.
Send a test and Test a critical alert check that everything works.
Recently sent to you lists what you've received.
