UniFi Network and UniFi Protect
Both work through Home Assistant, and work better with a direct connection to each house's UniFi console. To connect directly, create an API key on the console (Settings → Control Plane → Integrations) and add the console's address and key for that house in PorchIQ's settings.
UniFi Network
- Each house's network as a map: the gateway in the middle, with switches and access points around it and the devices on each.
- Devices online (wired, Wi-Fi and guests), access points, switches, power strips and battery backups.
- With a direct connection: the internet link (live download and upload, latency, last speed test), who's using the most right now, Wi-Fi experience, and every device's traffic.
- Restart an access point, power-cycle a switch port or outlet, and block a device. All of these ask first.
UniFi Protect
- Live pictures from every camera, and person, vehicle, animal, package and doorbell detections as they happen.
- Sensors (doors, motion, temperature, leaks), floodlights, and the recorder's and cameras' health.
- Sirens and chimes ask first.
